Residents Evacuated In Two-Alarm Fire At Florist Shop On Route 46: Mine Hill FD

A fire at a florist shop necessitated a second alarm in Morris County on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 2, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to a fire at a mixed use occupancy structure on 173 Route 46 and found a fire on the first floor at Party Flower Florist Shop and transmitted a second alarm, with additional units responding to extinguish the blaze, the Mine Hill Township Fire Department said.

Multiple residents were reported to be trapped on the second and third floors and were quickly evacuated, firefighters said. There was no word of any injuries.
